Standard Lithium Ltd. Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Appointments

Standard Lithium Ltd. (NYSE American: SLI) has announced the addition of two seasoned executives to its leadership team, marking a significant step in its journey towards sustainable lithium production. Daniel Rosen joins as Vice President of Strategy and Investor Relations, bringing over 13 years of experience in corporate strategy, finance, and capital markets from his previous roles at Rio Tinto and Arcadium Lithium. Tim Sobel has been appointed Vice President of Health, Safety, Social and Environment (HSSE), offering more than 30 years of global operational risk and safety expertise from his tenure at DP World and Sunoco Logistics.

The appointments come at a pivotal time for Standard Lithium as it progresses towards first production. CEO David Park highlighted the critical role both executives will play in advancing the company’s projects, including its flagship initiatives in the Smackover Formation, a world-class lithium-brine asset spanning Arkansas and Texas. The company’s partnership with global energy leader Equinor ASA on the South West Arkansas Project and its collaboration with LANXESS Corp. on the phase 1A project in southern Arkansas are central to its strategy for achieving commercial-scale lithium production.

Standard Lithium’s focus on sustainable development and its application of a scalable and fully integrated direct lithium extraction (DLE) and purification process underscore its commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation in the lithium sector. The expertise of Rosen and Sobel is expected to bolster the company’s strategic initiatives and operational excellence as it navigates the challenges and opportunities of the green energy transition.
