Achim Mendoza, CFO of Dusty Films, praised Lee’s unique skills in narrative structure and multilingual storytelling, stating her involvement is key to realizing the film’s innovative and resonant vision. Dusty Films, known for its dedication to underrepresented filmmakers, sees ‘Connection’ as an opportunity to further its mission of bridging cultures and communities through cinema.

The film is scheduled to shoot in Los Angeles starting August 2026, with post-production concluding by December 2027. ‘Connection’ will feature a mix of English, Tagalog, and other languages, mirroring the multicultural essence of its narrative.
